CHICAGO (WLS) — Police are investigating after two people were shot to death inside a hotel on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile Monday afternoon. Chicago police said a man and woman were each found unresponsive with a single gunshot wound to their head in the Allerton Hotel around 4:54 p.m. Chicago fire officials said the woman was found first, and the man was found about 30 minutes later. The female victim was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
